The Eclipse Is Asking You to Choose: Release What No Longer Serves You
Today's eclipse is a catalyst — forcing us to release old patterns and trust our intuition toward our North Star. Plus, how AI turns raw ideas into structured action.
I'm going to tell you something real. I just spoke these words into a computer — raw, unfiltered, straight from the gut — and what you're reading right now is structured thought that didn't exist five minutes ago. That's not magic. That's the world we live in now.
But this post isn't about AI. Not really. It's about the moment you're standing in right now.
The Eclipse Is Here
Today is an eclipse. And if you know anything about eclipses, you know they don't just block light — they reveal what's been hidden. They force a reckoning. The old light gets covered so something new can break through.
That's what this moment is asking of you.
It's asking you to release what no longer serves you so that you can actually go out and achieve your real goals. Not the goals other people gave you. Not the goals that sound good on LinkedIn. Your real goals. The ones that live in your chest, not your head.
Where You're Stuck
Most of us are stuck. And we don't even realize it because the stuckness feels like normalcy.
We're stuck in the energy we're currently in — comfortable, familiar, safe. We're stuck in a mindset that served us at one point but now holds us back. We're stuck trying to people-please, to serve everyone else's vision while our own North Star fades into background noise.
Here's what I've learned: the things that got you here won't get you there. The patterns, the relationships, the habits, the stories you tell yourself — some of them were scaffolding. And scaffolding is meant to come down once the building stands.
Your North Star Isn't a Goal — It's a Feeling
Your North Star is where you want to be at the end of the road. It's the person you want to meet when you finally arrive — and realizing that person is you. The version of you that trusted their intuition. The version that stopped asking permission and started moving.
The North Star isn't a job title or a revenue number. It's the feeling of alignment. It's waking up and knowing that what you're building actually matters — to you, not to the crowd.
When you're honest about your North Star, everything simplifies. The decisions that felt impossible become obvious. The relationships that drain you reveal themselves. The work that lights you up stops feeling like a guilty pleasure and starts feeling like purpose.
The Decision Point
The hero's journey has a moment — and every story has it — where the protagonist stands at a fork in the road. One path leads back to comfort, to the known, to the shadow of what was. The other path leads forward into light that's blinding because you've never seen it before.
Both paths are real. Both paths are available to you right now.
But here's what nobody tells you about that moment: you already know which path to take. Your intuition already knows. Your body already knows. The only thing standing between you and that path is the noise — the doubts, the people-pleasing, the "but what ifs."
The eclipse is clearing that noise. Right now. Today.
How AI Changes the Game
Now here's where it gets practical — because vision without structure is just dreaming.
I literally spoke the ideas for this blog post into my computer. Stream of consciousness. No outline. No structure. Just raw thoughts about eclipses and North Stars and getting unstuck. And AI turned it into what you're reading right now — a structured piece that captures the essence of what I was feeling and makes it shareable with the world.
Think about that for a second.
We now have tools that didn't exist even two years ago. Tools that take your raw, messy, beautiful ideas and give them structure. Tools that turn a voice memo into a blog post, a rambling thought into a framework, a late-night insight into something that can help other people.
This is what I mean when I talk about structured AI. Not AI that replaces your thinking — AI that amplifies it. AI that takes what's already inside you and gives it a form that the world can receive.
You've always had the wisdom. Now you have the tools.
Release and Rise
So here's my challenge to you on this eclipse:
Name one thing you're holding onto that no longer serves you. One pattern. One relationship. One belief about yourself. One "should" that isn't actually yours.
Name it. And then ask yourself: What would I do if I let this go?
Because on the other side of that release is your North Star. It's been there the whole time. You just need to clear the eclipse so you can see it again.
The person you're meant to become is waiting. Not at the end of some long road — but at the very next decision point. The one you're standing at right now.
Hand on heart. Trust your intuition. Choose forward.
